Please enjoy a snapshot of life as we know it...We are parents to the sweetest little boy in the world from China, and we are currently awaiting travel approval for Matthew's sister Hope in China. God has blessed us immeasureably with our first miracle child and life is surely a lot of fun!

- September 5, 2008 - Received Preliminary Approval from China(PA)
- August 26th, 2008 - submitted preliminary application to China
- August 25th, 2008 - Received referral called for special waiting child, had child locked in, and worked on preliminary application
- July 18th, 2008 - Sent match form for special waiting child program to La Vida
- July 17, 2008 - had a conference call with La Vida and inquired about Special Waiting Program
- June 8th, 2008 - Received paperwork to start renewal process for immigration and home study update
- July 27th, 2007 - LOG IN DATE
- July 23, 2007 - Dossier to China!
- May 5th, 2007 - Attended Adoption Workshop in King of Prussia and ate at an amazing Chinese restaurant!
- May 3, 2007 - Finally received passports!!!
- March 6th - Adoption home study with Shirley, our social worker!
- February 2, 2007 - Chris and I finished our autobiographies!
- January 15th, 2007 - Began the paperchasing to put a dossier together!
- January 12th - Received word from La Vida that application was accepted!
- January 5th - Mailed application to La Vida International
- December 25th, 2007 - Chris game me signed adoption application with a book on international adoption letting me know "it's time to do this."
- November 10, 2007 - Started Adoption Paperwork

Matthew is so cute, giggling and getting ready for bed.
We are home with our 2 every night and those silly giggles somehow let Alison stay up just a little too late many nights :) You just can't put a cute little giggler to bed sometimes, no matter how tired Mommy and Daddy are!

Yeah, so that looks like our house almost every night. Thankfully Caleb can go from wound up to deep sleep in about 5!
What fun! It seems like you three were always together. :)
Too cute!! Oh, Melissa, I have SO enjoyed checking in on you every day. I know what you mean about the stares- just when you can't take it anymore is usually when you're about to come home. You'll still get stared at, but they will usually be very nice stares! :) I can't wait to see your family at HOME! Soon, very soon!

The way things look, Melissa you are going to have to be the "strict" one. I know you can do it, Brandon gave you practice at camp. I cannot wait to meet you Matthew. You have the best mommy and daddy in the whole world. I know they have been in love with you since the day they got your picture. I know for sure cause I seen your mommys face, and shared her happy tears.

Oh my goodness--what a belly laugh. I LOVE That Video! Hang in there guys..HOME is just a couple days away. Thinking of you and can't wait for the homecoming pics. From all the beautiful comments--I'd say you have a beautiful family that is sooo ready to welcome you home. I can only imagine they're on pins and needles waiting. Praying now for a safe and smooth journey home--1/2 way around the world. How amazing is that--only second to how amazing Matthew is a fit for your family!
