Sunday Snapshot: {Soaking up every second...}

There is no denying the fact that we have been a little "distracted" for the past few weeks since we saw our precious daughter's face for the first time. We are going full speed ahead doing things in the house that have sat for 2 years and trying to prepare for becoming a family of 4.

But, we cannot let life fly by without savoring all of the precious moments that occur every day. You know, the moments like these....
- Making the best of a rainy day grocery shopping....
- Being silly in the car
- Watching Matthew and his Aunt Megs carry on, and do things they aren't supposed to do like pick their noses!
- Watching Matthew ham it up in the car, and make a little Thomas hat look so cool!
- Stopping everything to run off to the playground on a sunny afternoon with a friend
- Watching how Matthew even greets the characters in Chocolate World with a hand shake just as he does people in every day life :)
- Seeing our little grown up boy "helping" us paint our bedroom this week-end, and being so proud of his artwork on the wall

As much as we want time to fly by so that we can bring our precious Hope home before another day without her in our arms goes by, we know every second of life is worth savoring and treasuring. Matthew has always shown us that...we love learning from him! And boy does he make us smile........but can we please stop him from growing up????

I've tried stopping them from growing, and sadly, it doesn't work. But just know that as much as you'll miss his littleness, you'll be overjoyed to see Matthew pull it off as big brother and make you even more proud of him than you already are. Hard to fathom, but it's true. But I promise, you'll still cry when you fold up his little boy clothes and pack them away. I always do.
